Drag yourself to the Criterion Theatre this summer for laugh out loud new comedy The Way Old Friends Do. Follow two friends from Birmingham as they embark on a tour in the first ever drag tribute band to ABBA. There is plenty of drag drama along the way, platform boots, fake beards and a very distracting but delightful bit of eye candy. The Way Old Friends Do is both caring and funny, this profound story is written by and stars Ian Hallard (The Boys in the Band) and features the voices of Miriam Margolyes and the late Paul O’Grady.

Great actors
The show was funny but not as expected from the write up. We thought there would be lots of ABBA songs to sing a long to. There was one at the end.
Excellent venue and excellent venue
Nice theatre and an enjoyable show.
a very good show a great way to see what goes on behind the scenes
Amazing show. Excellent script. Made you laugh, cry and think. Loved all the ABBA related music played before the show and during the interval - Solo tracks, BAO, Kristina, Gemini etc. Was like listening to my Abba related playlist on Spotify!! Would highly recommend this show if your and Abba fan or not.
